Reflection in the mirrors not showing weather

Extremely minor thing I noticed when flying in overcast / rainy weather.  The mirrors did not appear to reflect any of the weather.

Performance reasons, I suppose.

Same for parts of ground clutter, trees, cities etc……

Aye, I wondered about that.  I'd rather have performance over some minor details in the mirror that don't matter a whole lot anyway.  It was just something random I noticed.

Since mirrors don’t look amazing most of times AND eat performance, I fly with them folded usually anyway.
