What Mods are you running, and don't the mips require extra power?

Could it be an NVidia CP setting?

I would clean up DCS install and then testrunning plugging in, starting with the mips, then add each peripheral until problems pop up

Intel I5 13600k / AsRock Z790 Steel Legend / MSI  4080s 16G Gaming X Slim / Kingston Fury DDR5 5600 64Gb / Adata 960 Max / HP Reverb G2 v2

Rhino FFB / Virpil MT50 Mongoost T50 Throttle, T50cm Grip, VFX Grip, ACE Rudder / WinWing Orion2 Navy, UFC&HUD, PTO2, 2x MFD1, PFP7 / Logitech Flight Panel / VKB SEM V  / 2x DIY Bodnar Button Panels

Can you upload your DCS.log?
Can you uncomment the Winwing line in the export.lua?
Too bad it wasn't that you're running DCS as admin, because that was the most common fix for other users. emoji6.png

Ive tried with the exports and no luck.  Log file attached.

I'm going to echo MAXsenna's comment. Winwing peripherals, specifically MFDs (I'm not sure about MIPs) are notorious for causing massive lag and halts even in just the menu screen. So far has been 99% caused by running DCS as administrator. Can you check the properties on the DCS shortcut you're using, and also the executable in the bin or bin-mt folder that it points to, on the Compatibility tab to ensure the Run as administrator checkbox isn't ticked.

EDIT: Just reread back through and I saw you mentioned "It works flawlessly with only the UFC/HUD/MFD’s running" so I'm assuming the Winwing MFDs are working fine so not administrator issue...worth a check though.

I went back through and double checked.  No administrator rights used for any .exe file related to the startup.

Yup, I saw when I reread.

Log looks good except for tons of errors with the Hercules and Super Hornet, while I think they can be safely ignored.

You're still running the exe from bin-mt, shouldn't have anything to do with this, but I highly recommend to start running from the bin folder as bin = bin-mt, and bin-mt will be removed in a future update, so you're better off changing now.

Could you post a screenshot of your screen setup. Your screen rendering is 7K+x1444, maybe it can be optimised.

(Btw. Helios doesn't export anything if you don't export instrument data, while Helios is superb for making the monitor file easy).

Cheers!

Have you tried removing the Super Hornet mod?  It has been known to cause issues with various things before.  C-130 should be OK since I know I have it and no problems.

Exactly, first rule in trouble shooting DCS is to remove all mods, even in Saved Games. Perform a full repair for good measure, and a clean Saved Games.
But I assume he did that all that before adding the mods back to the Saved Games folder. If not, that would completely defeat the purpose of renaming.

All mods removed and a new saved games folder created. Once I got back it it seemed as if it would work but started lagging again after about 15-20sec

I have a similar setup.

Probably not the same issues you're having, but last month my Gigabyte 5070 TI OC started randomly completely turning off while running DCS missions, all screens would go black - I'd have to do a PC reboot. I did trouble shooting with both ED and the PC's manufacturer. Looking at data from HWiNFO, the GPU seemed to be overheating, fans going crazy RPMs, and then shutting down. ED thought it might be due to the GPU being factory overclocked by Gigabyte. They said factory overclocking sometimes caused issues with DCS. They had me run the GPU with Nvidia Debug mode turned on via Nvidia Control Panel - this temporarily resets the GPU to original Nvidia specifications and turns all overclocking off. Doing this cured the crashing, but I had to do this every time I started DCS, so I replaced the 5070 TI OC with a basic Gigabyte 5080. Everything is running cool and smoothly now.

I’ve had those issues with various games. I did a straight line power curve to slightly under volt the card and have had no issues since.  Also no performance issues that I have noticed.
