Autopilot won't turn on with Orion 2 stick

I just upgraded from a TM16000 to the winwing Orion 2. I am having issues though with autopilot refusing to turn on the F18, I have not tried it with other aircraft since the F18 is the only fixed wing I currently fly. When trying to turn on autopilot on the UFC I get no semicolon in the mode select and the on/off button does nothing. I also get an AUTO PILOT message in the left DDI.

I did not have this issue with the TM16000 and am assuming that I need to adjust something with the Orion 2, I just don't know what.

Your stick is probably not fully calibrated. Check it in the DCS Controls page, choosing Axis commands, and see if you move a stick a bit around then release it, if there is any white bar still visible on the X or Y axis. Usually this is the reason the AP not kicking in.

I tried adjusting the dead zone in DCS, that did not work. I will try adjusting it in simapppro. Thanks.
