Cdodders Posted October 10 Posted October 10 As the only steam engine available is a German Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft Class 86, it is silly seeing it in Kent and the rest of the UK. I propose an expansion of available engines to suit regions and timeframes. Other suggestions may follow, but I suggest the Stanier 8F and Bulleid Q1 as suitable freight engines for the South Coast of England in WW2 timeframe, up to the 1960s. 2

A while ago I did lots of Railway items for upload - Locomotives Rolling stock and Timetables signals crossings even Narrow Gauge Marianas Islands Sugar Trains ( 255 of My Marianas WW2 Train Packs were Downloaded before i pulled the plug so theres maybe a few still being used ) I always thought the Bulleid Q1 was a bit of an ugly beast I do have a work in progress 8F a black 5 and a Nice Castle. I agree DCS German Trains in England leave a bad taste " The prolonged lack of a simple fix to the Trains Deactivation issue - ED just kicking the can down the road killed my interest and i deleted all my uploads and scrapped the whole project " I still have fun with them but i learned a harsh lesson about wasting my time uploading and sharing things and thinking ED would fix Train bugs Its not all bad news DCS do provide an oversize Marianas WW2 Narrow Gauge Loco baked into the siding to look at Very Strange there are No Narrow Gauge DCS Trains to run on the WW2 Marianas Islands My trains were hacked together totally home built in blender or highly modified models from sketchfab All valve gear was very tricky to animate but all Locomotives worked as they should Lots of Users on here dont like using home made Mods and demand nothing but so called Profesionally built DCS Trains Good Look With That Dont hold your breath !
