F-16 Helmet HMD skin doesnt show in Game but does in Modelviewer2

I have managed to get helmet HMD skin to show with custom color in the Model Viewer (pilot model only) but does not show inside aircraft.  The helmet skin transfers to both but hot the HMD skin in the pilot helmet details DDS.  I swear I read something about this happening but i cannot find it and have spent a great deal of time researching it.  Anyone have the answer?  It has to be something simple as there are several skin downloads with the HMD skinned and showing in sim.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check that the line for the HMD texture in the description.lua is set to false. If it is true it will pull the default texture.
