Visor f 18

Good morning. The latest DCS World update mentions the new F-18 first-person viewfinder. I haven't noticed any difference in 2D. Do I need to activate some feature in the settings tab?

Go into the aircraft control settings and map a key or button to activate the visor.

The F18C JHMCS II mod is incompatible with the new addition to DCS. It prevents the first-person view from working because it does not darken the vision when the visor is put on and lighten it when the visor is removed.

You'll have to take that up with the maker of the JHMCS II *MOD* .  Since it is created by someone other than ED, ED will not specifically change anything to support it or figure out why it isn't working.

I only mentioned it for Mosqui, who doesn't have the visor working, in case he has that mod installed. I don't blame DCS, nor do I have to talk to anyone, everything is fine, and he has to remove that MOD for it to work properly.

OK, language barrier misunderstanding then .  I read it as you were asking ED to look at it.
