Pimax Support Status?

Hi,

Purchased a Crystal Light last year about this time and had some issues getting a faulty headset replaced no doubt due to support being so busy after the release.

Wind on to now, and I raised a ticket on the 20th for a hardware fault, which got responded to many days later saying it got transferred to the returns team. Since then radio silence.

I'd assumed the support was just busy last year but is this the new norm?

I don't know but earlier today I waited 2 hours on the chat system and failed to get a human, that after waiting 2 days for a ticket reply. I would say it is unacceptable for such a high value product which has known quality issues.

I am very happy with the support so far, although I went through the ticket system, not the chat. I also had to wait for two-three days for every reply which is less then ideal, but the overall quality the responses and my satisfaction of the outcome was pretty much perfect (won't divulge the details to avoid Pimax agents' kindness being gamed 🙂).

This is my experience, but I'd say I get responses in 1-2 days.  I have an optical engine with a spot (or dead pixel grouping) at the 10 o'clock position, almost directly in front of my right eye.  It looks like a KC135 as it just becomes visible to the naked eye.  When scanning the sky for bandits, it's very noticeable, even tho small.  Once I was able to take a pic of the spot, they immediately offered a new optical engine replacement, once it's in stock.  I'm still waiting, but flying with the old one.  I will send the current one back after I test the new.  Given that I'm up when they are asleep and vice versa, responses were next-day events.  

The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.

yah i haven't had a great experience either. I got my ultrawide a week and a half ago. It has issues, I created a ticket which was initially responded to after a day so that was reasonable. But then after I responded to them that same day I haven't heard back. Its been 3 days so far. I hate to hear you have waited much longer.
