Jacknemo Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Once I have placed an object(s) on a map in the mission editor, clicking on them does nothing and therefore I can't move or delete the object(s). I've had this issue on both the Afghanistan and Persian Gulf maps. I recently ran a repair on DCS before doing this. Is there a setting within the mission editor that I can use to enable the moving or deleting of objects I have placed on a map? Thanks for any assistance.
Kang Posted October 30 Posted October 30 You should be able to click on them to move them around. It is a bit tricky if the waypoint mode (in the right tab) is set to 'ADD', so it might add waypoints instead. Click on 'EDIT' there to make it easier. Other than that, there are some limitations to the placement of units. For example, if you placed an aircraft as parked, it must be on a base parking spot and can't be moved about manually.
Jacknemo Posted October 31 Author Posted October 31 Thanks for the reply. The objects I've had the problem with are aircraft flying at around 30,000 feet. And I was not in waypoint mode when trying to move or delete the aircraft objects. At least I don't think so. I'll try it again. The aircraft objects I was using in the scenario were user mods, the J-10C and the Su-30. Not sure if that makes any difference. I'll try using stock DCS aircraft and let you know if I have the same problem.
Jacknemo Posted November 1 Author Posted November 1 Not sure what the problem was, but I no longer have the problem. I didn't change anything. Thanks for responding to my original post.
