jgreg Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Problem with the 'I' bracket in the IHADS. When using the CPG to target rockets, the 'I' remains static in the centre of the IHADS, and the rocket pods don't move up and down when moving the pilots head up and down. When using the pilot to target rockets, the 'I' does move, but not in the correct way, as it used to do before the latest updates. It doesn't provide an accurate CCIP for the rockets. When the 'I' is lined up correctly and the rockets are fired, they are way off target. The rocket pods DO move up and down correctly to follow the pilots head. There is no updated tutorial for firing rockets, and the manual is outdated.
Tholozor Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) The I-beam is not a CCIP indicator, it is a steering cursor based on the currently selected sight source to point the nose of the helicopter to where the sight source is looking. Rocket employment is described in the manual starting on page 500.
