Kickswitch Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I bought an AB9 base recently - arrived today - and connected the MH16 Flight stick to the Ab9 box. I can see a light on the ab9 power supply a green blacklit "MOZA" I have only one wall socket for power so I use a multiple plug power board and the ab9 box is plugged into that not the wall socket. The ab9 shows up in "Set up usb game controllers" in the control panel but not the MH16 Stick. I have a screenshot of this attached. There are six hardware devices for flight sims plugged in, 5 showing one not. AB9, HOG Throttle, rudder pedals, MFDs 1 & 2 I've heard that power for this base should be connected to a wall socket that can handle 110 to 220v the base isn't though in my case. I'm not sure why the stick isn't showing in usb controllers. I have installed the moza config software and done a torque calibration but at this point am at a complete loss as to why Force feedback isn't working, the stick works in flight just no FF Cheers

MAXsenna Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Yeah mate I turned that onDoes the buttons work in DCS? Or in the game controllers, if you setup the Moza base. Are there buttons there?Which modules have you tried FFB in?I would assume the Moza software has some test function? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Kickswitch Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago @NAM I just tried IL2 GB and FF works! Unfortunately not in DCS or BMS. So the base itself is ok, looks like a config issue maybe within DCS itself? I tried force test thank you for the link. @MAXsenna Yep buttons work in DCS and game controllers. Tried FFB in A10c and F5e also A4e mod no FF at the moment. P.S sorry if I came across as surly thank you both for your help. So long as it works in one game I ought to be able to work out it out somehow. I also check the special options for a10c and f5e - I see some options in there for the a4e and f5e that are specific to FF. 1
MAXsenna Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago @Kickswitch NP! Can you double check the FFB settings under misc hasn't disabled itself? It has to be checked, and it's the only thing I can think of. As long as you have enabled the direct input thing in the Moza base. You might want to enable the telemetry option too. As for why you can't see the grip under the game controllers, is that Windows sees it as part of the base, so that's normal. 14 minutes ago, Kickswitch said: So long as it works in one game I ought to be able to work out it out somehow. Most definitely! 14 minutes ago, Kickswitch said: I also check the special options for a10c and f5e - I see some options in there for the a4e and f5e that are specific to FF. They won't have any effect unless FFB is enabled in DCS in general. Another thing. When you get it to work, and of you feel the effects behave little strange. Like if you trim in the y axis, but the stick moves in the x axis. You need to click the column under the controls settings for each and every module. Click the FFB tuning button on the bottom, and select swap axis. You might not need this. Only if the effects move in the wrong axis. Crossing my fingers now!

Is this what you mean by direct input? and I see Telemetry also up top. It gives me a warning on switching over from integrated to directinput - After reading the warning message I'm guessing that DCS prefers it's own direct settings for FFB? Just want to be sure before I switch 1 hour ago, MAXsenna said: As for why you can't see the grip under the game controllers, is that Windows sees it as part of the base, so that's normal. Yeah that makes sense.
