Which version is best for DCS? Ultrawide / 57PPD 50PPD / Micro OLED?

All is in the title, which version would be the best for DCS? I guess there are little to now feedback for the Micro OLED yet, but it should be better for night flying? And do you prefer FOV over resolution? I tend to think that 50PPD is already very good for reading the cockpit, and FOV is king, but it might also kill the performance (much more objects to be rendered in camera frustums, especially trees)

I have the 50ppd Super Ultrawide, and the FOV is better than my old Reverb G2, of course.  Resolution is outstanding, but as stated, I have problems with the hazy glow/bloom around any light sources during night flying, even with full moon.  I have to pull the brightness back (decrease), and with a full moon, I can't see any terrain features as I would in real life.  The guys flying with flatscreens are commenting on the gorgeous terrain in the moonlight, and I see nothing without NVGs.  I had a ticket open for this, and they merged it with my other still-open ticket that has nothing to do with the night-flying hazy glow.

The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.

50ppd/UW are good, but have  performance issues - 50ppd 80mp (megapixels) vs 57ppd 40mp is a massive difference. My 5090 cannot run 50ppd Ultrawide on Caucasus, Nevada or PG at 90fps - that's close to max settings, even with DLSS. Older games that have no eye tracking need to be run at 50% resolution which massively defeats its purpose.

PS Edited my own hmd into the sentence 🙂

Your results about not being able to run on close.to max settings... are you referring to a 50 ppd regular wide?
