The two needle like things, protruding from the nose of the Su-25t--there is a graphical glitch, that only shows part of them--and you can see through the rest.

Sorry if this is already known.

It is pito tubes.

Use the VISIB. RANGE = MEDIUM/HIGH to see them fully.

Excuse the long-windedness:

I think on any future add-ons/products--that ED needs to seriously look at making the GUI more user-friendly.

Saving changes in missions/campaigns that are classified:

Even though I ran into this problem when LOMAC was released--I forgot the solution! I had to search around for an hour or so to finally figure it out for the second time--nearly giving up, and moving on to something else. A simple reference even in the readme file would be helpful (if I missed it in the readme, my fault).

After you manage to de-classify the mission, I tried to change the time of the mission--and couldn't seem to get it to stick. I realized, after some time, that I needed to press the "okay" button under the coalition table, and then save the mission.

On another user-made mission, I tried to delete an enemy flight--and kept deleting my own flight instead--goofing around with the "side" pulldown menu and the "flight" pulldown menus, and clicking on flights in the map. I never did quite understand how this works--but managed to delete the proper flight after tinkering with it long enough.

Letting us know that invulnerable, and perhaps other options, don't work with the Su-25t should be documented, if only by a sticky (if it's there, again, I apologize). I don't necessarily have the time or inclination to read every post on every website to make sure I'm not missing something. I only go out searching, when I have a problem.

Most recently, I have had autopilot problems--until someone filled me in that when engaged, the autopilot actually re-trims the aircraft, and when auto-pilot is cancelled, the trim changes remain. I've read the manual regarding this--and it never mentions that you have to re-trim the aircraft (and of course, that there is no longer a reset trim function.)

Because of all of these things--I'm afraid that some fundamental user tools that aren't user-friendly, are going to turn away newbies--and that is decidedly a bad thing. Once everything if figured out--it's a blast to fly, but on top of the steep learning curve (which I enjoy) we've got to figure out how to properly use the GUI, which can be extremely frustrating.

I want the market to grow, especially LOMAC's (and future products), and I think these and similar issues need to be addressed so that anyone can at least get into their jet with ease--though they might not be able to fly it!

With good intentions,

BBQ

Thanks for good intentions.

Not sure if this is a bug, maybe someone can confirm it.

When locking a target in EOS, he recieves no warning on his RWR(correct function).

Then directly pressing 'I' to SCAN radar mode whilst still locked, the target should recieve a lock warning on his RWR, yet he receives no warning.

we'll check

User-made Campaigns keeps crashing on me. The only way to fix it is to go in, tinker around uselessly a bit, then re-saving and see if it works - usually it takes like 5 saves. Really, really annoying.

Customers campaigns was made on 1.1 or on 1.02 version? If second - it is not a bug.

The bug that causes the radar to stop scanning in the 15 seems to happening more often. My guess is it is caused by cycling radar off and on, as this is what I did tonight right before I noticed it had stopped scanning. I turned it off to clear ghosts and when I turned it back on there was nothing there.

It will be exelent if you'll give us a SHORT track with this bug.

If you look at the back of the sides of the cockpit, its just gray. But if you look from the F2 view, there should be a lot more room to look back at.

ALT-TAB is not guarantied works fine in LockOn.

If you strongly need it use the window mode for LockOn.

Can any of the beta testers for 1.1 comment on how these problems were missed? Or were they working then got porked in later incarnations of the beta?

Windows XP have no bugs after release?

Well fails to work correctly against Mig-23s ... I don't remember seeing any jamming from those. Went TWS, locked 4 targets closing on me h2h ... fired at 15-20 miles ... and they all went after the same Mig!!!

May you record a such track ?

until ED get there act together

It's spelled "their", stay w/me now as this is relevant to my main answer.

1 new aircraft = 1000 new bugs = leet

So far it's at most a couple of dozen bugs. Would you like to retract your statement considering you can't spell nor count?

OK 1000 is exaggerated but i will not retract and about the spelling, so "w/me" is english now is it ?

so "w/me" is english now is it ?

"w/me" is actually an american contraction that is used in the construction trades. It's also an internet thing. But I've used it for nearly 20 years along with w/c (watercloset) when I was drawing up blueprints.

OK 1000 is exaggerated

I'm sure your parents told you a million times not to exaggerate. :D

... the Devs come out to discuss things with the community, and people just bash them?

Are you guys SURE you actually want to talk to them or is it that you just whine until they come out, then try to verbally pummel them? You're expecting to voice what concerns again?

And FYI, you may not be able to see it, but the beta testers actually do massive amounts of research behind the scenes - from knowledge of Aerodynamics, contacts with pilots, knowledge of military procedure, radar systems, etcetc right down to algorithmic suggestions and just plain old taking stock of what's being done and recording things in a clear form to add to the 'to do' and 'wish' lists.

Thats' who you're bashing. Now go sit in your corners.

If I knew how to make it stop scanning, I could make you a short track. Please don't tell me ED is not aware of this bug.

The only way I know to make a track of it is to record a track of every sortie I fly online. It wouldn't be a short track, and recording every sortie would be a pain in the ass. Are your beta testers not helping anymore?

... the Devs come out to discuss things with the community, and people just bash them?

People are angry, GG. Simmers do tend to get a bit passionate about their sims. Flying the 15, and flying predominantly online, I see many more bugs in 1.1 than I saw in 1.02. People spent money on FC expecting a better experience than 1.02. For some, it is a better experience. Many are giddy over the T, but many don't care about the T. I don't know why you would expect people who spent their money on FC only to see degraded performance to sit still and calmly take it. 1.1 went through beta testing and was released with terrible problems. Yes, terrible. ARH missles that disregard any guidance and attack friendly aircraft is a terrible problem. HOJ locks and launches that give warnings when they shouldn't is a terrible problem. Maddog launches that don't give any warnings at all are a terrible problem. Radar that still stops scanning for no apparent reason is a terrible problem. Friendly ships that shoot down planes on their own side is still a problem.

Some of those bugs, and I could have named more, are not new. They are the things that we expected to be fixed in 1.1. It's what we paid our money for. The FF bug is better than it was, but it's still there. The only bug that's gone that matters to me is the Maverick/Track bug. The net code has more problems than 1.02. AI is improved, but it's still as dumb as sled tracks.

I know you yourself have problems with LOMAC. You choose to deal with them differently than others. The way I see it, the devs are here. They need to hear from their customers what they hate along with the things they love about their product. In clear language.

Five page rants and flamewars solve nothing. It may help to vent one's frustrations, but in the end, it's just repetition. The mods have been good about not letting things get out of hand but you can expect more angry posts about 1.1 because it was released with so many problems.

On a lesser note:

Ruggbutt, check the proper grammatical use of the word "nor". You just earned a Preddy.

Dear users, if you will not stop flamming here the thread will be closed with evident sequel.

Let's keep deference between us.

We're prepairing a fix for some of most capitally problems.

If you'll be composed while you reporting bugs than there is more chance that these bugs will be fixed.
