Hi Reflected,

In the 2nd mission only 15 spitfires in total take off from biggin hill - the rest stay on the ground, and then we later get obliterated by 24+ huns.

Is that intended, or a known issue ? I'm flying normandy 2.0 on an updated dcs

Thanks for the campaign! It made me read the wonderful book along the campaign, and in general read up about the amazing history of the RAF and the spitfire.

So turns out the problem goes away if i ask biggin hill for permission to start engine and wait for the other spits to take off first.

However there is another problem with comms. Once flying i cannot get the comms menu to open with either of the keys bound to comms menu or push to talk or any other.

Are you aware of this ?

1. I think I understand now what happens with the comms. The black radio box above the throttle is pretty close to it and I think I accidentally knock out its bottom radio mode switch when flying in VR and moving the hands around while (releasing or grabbing the throttle). the radio mode switch needs to be set to the right for the radio to work. (btw, the button on the throttle is drop-bombs, not comm related)

2. Does asking biggin hill for startup permission and waiting for the spits to roll by until you receive the permission to taxi message solve the AI hang up problem ?

3. maybe if this solves the problem then it could be worthwhile to add these to the pinned post as notes or warnings.
