Latitude Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Hi, I have tried this mission several times and each time (at some point) I get whacked by a missile. This happens either whilst I take on/out ground targets or hang arround waiting for the AA or enemy fighters to be surpressed. As I understand it my flight is equipped with a "SEAD package" and I read somwhere that you should not venture ahead of your flight until this has been effective. I guess I do have air support but it does not seem very good. Am I missing something here? Should I be more agressive? Or is it just a hard mission to complete? Thanks, Any advice welcome.
Latitude Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 Hi again, Solved it. Gave it another try after I made the above request for advice and as you might guess, it worked. I did find this quite a difficult mission. This time the difference maybe was a little more agression. I took ground targets out with my guided missiles as fast as I could and ordered my flight to do the same. When I ran out of guided missiles I switched to cannon (which I find very effective) and that did the trick. I ran out of fuel a few km. out from my return base and had to eject but what the hell, I did it.

I use it as an opportunity to practice Auto Rotative Flight at an unexpected moment.
