There is nothing wrong with the assumption that the universe is a perpetuum mobil if it is a closed system. In fact ANY closed system must be a

perpetuum mobile to adhere to the conservation law. (This is also seen in

electrodynamics in various ways).

 

However human technology cannot create a true closed system : Hence :

we cannot make a perpetuum mobile:)

 

Yupp, but was just a theoretical thought anways ....personally i dont believe in perpetuum mobiles, but dont exclude possibilities of new energy conversions....

You know, there are patents for other perpetual motion machines out there too ... this isn't proof.

 

Here's a quote for you though:

You see, in order to get energy out of something you have to put that something in a lower energy state. Vaccum energy is simply a minimum energy state - the existing model predicts its existance, and it also predicts that we cannot access this energy. This has been observed time and time again by people doing real science. I doubt I need to prove this to you, you obviously know of these things already ;)

For the guys that believe in self perpectual magnetic generators and the likes:

 

Dont feel bad, theres all sorts of intelectual people who get completely fooled by these hoaxes.

 

But it all comes to this: conservation of energy. Magnets alre always closed magnetic circuits. Where you have repulsion you always get oppsoite and equal atraction in the same system so you always have an equilibrium.

 

So the infamous magnet perpectual machine is nothing more than energy conservation device. Add any energy drain from it, Such as generating electricity or air drag it will eventualy stop.

 

 

One other hoax are all the "scientific" reports explaining the moon does not rotate, you wouldnt believe how many followers this has simply because they fail to understand what an inertial referential is and get fooled by apparent motion.
