Wish: visior and helmet noise cancelling

Hi Heatblur Team,

 

my wish would be a helmet visior feature (visior up and down in the pilot view) and a noise cancelling feature when you put on the helmet when you start on the ground cold and dark.

Hey there, the visor can already be moved up and down (but without any effect on your first person view yet, but that will be added eventually).

Regarding the audio, DCS has an option for that called "Hear like in helmet" or sth like that, which does what you want.
In general, we do not recommend that setting though as you are missing out on a lot of extra audio-feedback that compensated stuff that you would feel IRL otherwise. So while "hear like in helmet" is in terms of audio more realistic, it is hard to argue that the experience as a whole becomes more realistic that way.
But feel free to pick whatever you personally prefer

Yup, a working visor is one of those QoL features you want on every module once you fly a module that has one
