Modman help

ok i have modman i have it installed in c:\modman when i click down load mods it opens the checksix site. now what. where do i save the addons and how do i get them to show in madman. I have ventrilo if someone wants to help me figure this out.

Save any addons you get from there or from lockonfiles.com to your desktop. Open modman and click "mods installer". Then a new page will open and at the top in the middle there is a button "add". Click it, browse to the mod you saved on your desktop and hit okay. The mod will be automatically added to the correct modman folder and will be displayed on the left side of the mods installer page. You can now delete the mod you downloaded to the desktop because modman has made a copy of it and put it in the correct folder.

To use a mod, simply go to the mods installer page and click on the mod you added earlier then look on the right side of the page for the "install" button. Click it, and you're all set.

 

Please be aware: Some mods conflict with other mods. You have to be carefull about which mods you use and in which order you install them. For example: When installing both "dragon's sharkpit V3.0" and "Russian Pilot flora 1998 camouflage" install dragon's sharkpit first because the sharkpit mods the entire pit and the russian pilot mod only changes the pilot. In the window where it shows your addons, each addon has a "state" that is color coded. Green means every folder from the mod is installed. Yellow means that some of the files were unable to be installed or else some of the files were overwritten by other mods (which is no biggie and usually perfectly safe). Red means that the mod is uninstalled.
