Latitude Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Hi, This is a question about targeting in low light situations. I seem to have a problem locking onto (and staying locked onto) targets in this mission. This mission involves eliminating lots of armour stored at a rebel supply base. Everything starts OK with me picking off the targets one by one. As the light fades I loose the ability to lock onto targets, or if I do manage to lock on, often I will loose the lock after my missile is fired (wasted missile). I don't know enough about the targeting system (yet) but my question is, is it effected in low light situations? Any advice appreciated.
26-J39 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Even tho u loose lock the missile is still heading for where ever your shkval gates are located.. If you loose lock, manually slewing the gates over the target and keep correcting until the vikhr hits... Only really effective in a hover...
Latitude Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Yep, thanks for that. Manual slewing of the gates does the trick.
