questerymj Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I believe there are a lot of pit makers like me here have some smaller individual LCD monitors connected to display MFDs/HUDs(this is important for incoming A-10:D) ,and we will want to use it to display ABRIS/Shkval. Although DCS series have build-in multi monitor support, unfortunate it is mainly use for 2 or 3 monitor with same size/resoluton showing main camera at same time,if we want to add more monitors with different vertical resoluation, we will be forced to use more slower window mode and the fps is unacceptable at most time. Being a Open Falcon player at same time, I very enjoy it's 3D MFD export method. F4 BMS/OF done this by duplicate all actived MFD/HUD pages(update per 1/10 secs etc) into memory and let 3rd appls to get/show them. This way is very easy to use and works nice, so I will suggest ED/devs to add this function into the render engine in next patch. By this way, we can use monitors of any size to show ABRIS/Shkval while using full screen mode, and can use the original multi monitor function at same time. I believe everyone will be glad to see this.:)
dburne Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Indeed that would be very nice. I run two lcd monitors, two different resolutions and would like the ability to use my secondary monitor to display Abris/Shkval. I was very excited when I read it had multi monitor support in the Quick Start Guide, but that vanished fairly quickly after reading what would need to be done to get it working.
