Searched around a bit and couldn't find anything specific to my problem. It seems as though a few of my keys aren't registering correctly in game but they register correctly in notepad etc. For example the "[" key comes up as AT in the game. The bracket keys seem to be moved over one key from where they are on the keyboard. Is there a setting in a file to change keyboard types or general keyboard layouts? I'm trying to set up a profile for my new fangled G940 and this problem is preventing some pretty important commands.

I'm running the English version.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Shez

P.S.

I have done the unistall/reinstall dance with no joy. Same issue with clean install and patch 1.01b. And I tried another keyboard. Same problem.

Ok I've narrowed this down to 4 keys.

In the game keyboard mapping screen this is what I'm getting for these keys.

When I press = i get 'Prev'

When I press [ i get 'AT'

When I press ] i get '['

When I press \ i get ']'

When I press ' i get ':'

It only appears to be these keys. I can map my hotas buttons correctly but I'd like to use the Logitech software to take advantage of the shift function and the triple mode functions. So frustrating. Is there a config file that will let you change the keyboard from US to Russian region?

I couldn't figure it out so I just remapped the effected buttons to the numpad. Using track ir frees those buttons up for me :)

Did you have an error when entering the options-screen? Did you install patch 101 or 101b on an English Version, but have some other regional settings in use?

It is also possible that with the different key-combinations used in BlackShark you accidently changed the keyboard input profile from your local setting to any other layout. You should be able to check that in the "regional settings" under "Keyboard and languages" (I guess that's what it's called in English)

I checked the region seetings. It's set to U.S. It does the same thing after a clean English install. Patch 1.01a EN and 1.01b EN. Yes I unistalled and reinstalled 3 times :) And it's quite possible that it's been doing this since I first installed it. I was programming the hotas in game so I wouldn't notice it then. Just when I started using the Logitech software It became glaringly obvious. Funny thing is the keyboard prints the correct keys in all other windows apps (Notepad, IE, etc) So I've tossed it up to some in game anomoly.

What kind of keyboard do you have? We know this feature on some multimedia (as well as notebook) kb. In this case I advise to remap these keys.

Similiar issue here.

German system, Fujitsu-Siemens Standard german keyboard.

"#" and "^" for example are not correct identified in Blackshark. No other application has a problem with the keyboard.

I worked around and remapped the keys. I am using the same key on my keyboard (#, ^) but Blackshark is recognizing ^ as Kanji... do not remember the other keys at the moment.

I can live with the workaround - just wanted to let you know about the issue.

Funny. It recognizes my tilda (`) key as kanji. Weird stuff. I'm using the keyboard that came with the computer. I've also tried 2 others that were laying around the house with the same results. So, it's probably not directly related to the keyboard itself.
