yuhan11020 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I find it's very important when I use KU-31 to lock target!but in the manual I just can not find a trigger for that use
EtherealN Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I think he wonders if it's a real-world function, not just in-game. At least, that's how the subject line reads... As an example, I had some trouble figuring out where in the cockpit the auto-hover key was, until I finally wrapped my head around the virtual stick and found a small white button on the far side move. :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

nemises Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 ah right...gotya...nfi, could be a function on the cyclic (along with the slew controls)
Frederf Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm confident the Shkval center key is purely for the video game just like the trim reset. The real Ka-50 has an analog Shkval hat which it is very easy to control both fine and fast movements by how far you displace the hat switch from center. Since most of us just have simple on/off hats there's a script in the game that just accelerates the Shkval the longer you hold it. I think you can set real Shkval joystick axes in the game if you've got a spare joystick around. If I could get my X-45 thumb mouse nub to report as X/Y joystick axes then I'd use it that way.

You definitely can set the Shkval to a different axis. I use the Logitech G13 gameboard's Analog stick to control the Shkval :)

isoul Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Its not impossible that this function(Shkval center) exists cause its just a line up movement(moving sensor to its original position). The trim reset is implemented ingame possibly because the whole trim function can't be simulated to the most people(that don't have FF sticks).
