PanelBuilder Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Sorry if this has been discussed. The results of the Prepare mission and Fly mission choices in the Flight menu of the Mission Builder seem to be switched.
Panzertard Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Prepare mission takes you to a "Fligh mode" where you can program the ABRIS/PVI and other fun stuff. The mission file (or folder if you extract it) will then contain some extra content from your flight if you use that option. Fly mission shouldnt save any extra data into the mission file (from my understanding). But both will put you in the cockpit. How do you notice they are switched - in wich way? I havent been able to verify it yet. The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
JG14_Smil Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Hello, I just tested this... "Fly" will show a debrief screen after mission exit, "Prepare" takes you back to the editor, so no, they are not switched for me (1.01). Prepare mission instructions need to be followed exactly, then it works fine.

I havent been able to verify it yet. I probably just misunderstood the intent. What caught my eye was that Prepare takes me right to the cockpit ready to fly. And Fly takes me to the briefing screen just before the flight.
Panzertard Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Then it's working as intended :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
