Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with multiplayere here. My brother just got a joystick, and we decided to set a server to try it out. I click on network, set it to Server, change it to LAN 100/Mbps and click start. I choose the mission and start the server. The problem is he can't join. I've checked the IP at that "What's My IP" website, he types it on the screen and click Start. Then nothing happens. Anyone knows how to set up a LAN server on Lock On: Flaming Cliffs? Thanks in advance.

Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 Yes. Both computers are connected to a ZTE ZXDSL 513B router.
weasel75 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 (edited) I am afraid the "What's My IP" - IP is not that behind the router - you just got the internet-valid-IP of your router! Instead, you will have to use your computer's LAN-IP! http://compnetworking.about.com/od/findingipaddresses/f/whatsmyipaddr.htm You can always ask the cmd-box - ipconfig is your friend there. ... or just read the above link ;) Good luck! Should I get the address showing after IPv4 address? you should go into your routers setup page and see what is attached to it. and you should be able to see yours and your freinds computers ip numbers usually 168.198.?.? Or I did it wrong... I'll try it again and check if it works. EDIT: Finally made it! Thanks for the help, guys. Edited November 8, 2009 by Lucas_From_Hell
