SeanK Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Hello Folks, I finally got myself a pc to run Lomac on max settings and the sim runs like a dream. However I ran into this irritating problem while flying the A-10 Maverick training mission. I lose my hud view right after I take flak and no matter how I slew my hat switch, I can't get back to my forward view, Instead my view gets locked on either the rear right quadrant or left quadrant. Anyone else experienced this problem? My specs: Intel Core2 Quad 2.6Ghz 8 Gb Ram Nvidia GTE220 with 1G Ram OS: Win 7 64bit (running the sim on XP compatible mode) Any advice welcome! Cheers, Sean
104th_Crunch Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Very strange issue you describe. What are you using to slew the TV? The default keyboard bindings of , . / ; ?
Vekkinho Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Perhaps you've hit some of the snap view padlocks by accident! Give us more details on conditions this happened under! Are U using any HW controllers (rudders, HOTAS)?! I'm asking this cause I had some similar issues with my HOTAS, some of the commands would interact and create unwanted input commands so try simplifying majority of your commands, especially the ones you use often, to a single key input instead of Shift+, Ctrl+, Alt+ combos! SeanK Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 Thanks for the response guys. I am using Saitek X45; and use the hat switch on the joystick to pan around. It does seem strange, that the lock up occurs right after I get hit by aaa. I am running Lock On Gold, and I've heard about the nightmare some people have ahd with this version, but everything else seems to work fine for me...
SeanK Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 Oh and yes, Crunch, I use the keyboards keys you mentioned to slew tv.
