ronht Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hello All, I had a total melt down with my last computer and was unable to save anything from it. :( Good news is it was time for an up-grade so the new machine is here. :D My new computer came with Vista Ultimate 64 and I get a freee upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 which will arrive in about a week and I'm planning on upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 when it arrives. My question is this - If I install Black Shark now, will I lose another activation when I upgrade to Windows 7? I've already lost one activation with the melt-down, so while I'd love to get Black Shark up and running again as soon as possible, I don't want to lose another application unnecessarily. Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions. Ron
Feuerfalke Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 You can without losing an activation, if you remember to deactivate before you reinstall your OS. More details in the corresponding DCS-Forum "Payment and Activation": http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=38 If you only upgrade your OS, you might even do without reinstalling, but if you set your PC up from scratch, I'd reinstall Win7 from scratch as well. EtherealN Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 If you really were unable to save anything from the previous machine, then you would end up spending another activation. Basically, things like that is the reason why you have several activations instead of just 1 activation and 10 deactiations.
