71st_Mastiff Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 In Lock on I can not control the aircraft as well, as I can in IL2 sturmovik 1946. I have issues with the FM not responding properly to my inputs, i.e. pitch and roll. The Su25 the HSI is 10 degrees off true level. The input configuration is porked, every time I make a change in the inputs it Screws up my aspect ratio and I have to go and fix that..:joystick: Patch please! :helpsmilie: "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. PoleCat Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) In Lock on I can not control the aircraft as well, as I can in IL2 sturmovik 1946. I have issues with the FM not responding properly to my inputs, i.e. pitch and roll. It sounds like you need to work on your joystick curves within the game options. I suggest you alter the x and y axis curves a little and see if you can find the feel you are looking for. I think you probably will. In the 25/25T you should use a pure linear setting (no curve) on X and Y axis as that is the best way to experience the flight model. The Su25 the HSI is 10 degrees off true level. After power on you need to let the HSI needle completely settle to a stopped position before starting other systems or it will be inaccurate for the flight. The input configuration is porked, every time I make a change in the inputs it Screws up my aspect ratio and I have to go and fix that..:joystick: Patch please! :helpsmilie: Remember Lock On was developed before widescreen monitors were the norm. If you enter the options in the game for any reason any widescreen aspect ratio reverts to default. Once you have your in game options for input, graphics, sounds, difficulty etc. then just set the desired aspect ratio in the Graphics.cfg last, save and close and you are good to go. You can alternatively set the Graphics.cfg file as read only. I just use the LoCFG tweak app. If I change anything in game options I use the app to reset the aspect before running the sim again. I am simply happy I can use the proper aspect ratio with only such a minor inconvenience. Once you have the sim setup just to your liking it becomes a non issue fast.
