Hippo Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi, I've been reprogramming my HOTAS and noticed the following issues 1. On the targeting mode control panel the weapon system mode selector dial (rotary switch). Using either mapped commands or the keyboard (shf - f, alt -f). Both commands turn the switch clockwise only (the other should turn it anti-clockwise). 2. The frame rate counter command does not work when mapped to a button. The correct keys for rotating this dial are LeftALT + f and LeftCTRL + f. Shift + f controls the fire-extinguisher. So only one keycombo turns the rotary, the other one is not linked to this rotary at all. 2. Make sure you mapped the key in the right setting corresponding to the gametype you play. There is one for Game-Mode and one for Simulation-Mode. Hippo Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the reply. 1. Sorry. I WAS using control and alt, not shift - that was a mistake in my post. It does not work for me. Either keys or mapped buttons rotate the switch clockwise in the game. However, in the options screen pressing either the keys or buttons, the correct control is highlighted. I assume from your response that it works correctly for you? In case it's not clear, for me both lalt-f and lcontrol-f turn the rotary clockwise. 2. I only ever use simulation mode. This mapping does not work for me when I map it to a joystick button.
