Damalio Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Hello, I am having an issue installing the HOTAS Cougar on my XP x64 machine. All the drivers I have found for XP are 32 bit and the Vistax64 drivers will not work either from the .exe from the Thrustmaster site. Does anyone know of a working driver ".inf file" with Windows XP x64 (64 bit)?
Kuky Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 hm... thrustmaster has 64bit driver for Vista and Windows 7 by the looks of it... http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=1&fid=3&pid=50&cid=1 PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
Damalio Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 Yes this is true. However these are not working with Windows XP Pro 64Bit.
Guest netspeedy Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 (edited) I got everything working! I created a MSI Package from the installed data under Windows 7: http://rapidshare.com/files/329700162/Thrustmaster_HOTAS_Cougar_2007_x64_RC1_unoffical_by_Netspeedy.exe schould work under XP X64 and higher. Just connect the HOTAS Cougar after installation! Edited January 3, 2010 by netspeedy
