FOXFIRE TWOONE Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Suddenly the sim stops working and shouts down when a missile exploded on impact of target. This just started a week ago and happens every time I try to play. I did replace my dead 8600GT about a month ago with a GTX 260 MAX CORE and I have new RAM. I tried a patch reinstall, that didn't help. Any ideas for a fix. Error attachment below. Panzertard Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 - It may be your sound drivers - It may be mods - It may be video drivers - It may be system/chipset drivers or system health / filesystem - Some people have reinstalled their DCS and it has fixed such issues in the past. If you can proviode a Dxdiag we might be able to see something obvious there - so if you can attach it, that might be quite helpful. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=738467&postcount=1 The mind is like a parachute. EtherealN Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Actually, to the complete picture you should click "Save all information", and attach the text file that this produces. Panzertard Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) I was hoping for a TXT file like this; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=810271&postcount=1 But you basicly provided a little bit of an overview with your pictures. :) Sound drivers seems a bit dated, 2007. Could be part of the problem - I'd think this might be the most likely cause. Also, you could try to reinstall DCS, in a new folder outside C:\Program Files, for example D:\Games\DCS Then patch it up to latest patch. Do not apply any mods. The tests you did before this - you did them without any mods, right? Edited January 3, 2010 by Panzertard The mind is like a parachute.
