Hi All,

I want to assign this to a POV on the X52 pro in game, but there is no box available to select under this catagory, any ideas?

Cheers

If I understood right you want to slew Shkval up,down, left, right using a HAT switch(one of the three available on the X52) right?

Simple... Using SST software you should assign the keyboard buttons assigned to Shkval slew to the correct direction of the stick's HAT switch.

1) In case the HAT is 8-way, switch the functionality to 4-way(disabling diagonal movement).

2) Assign keyboard binding to HAT directions :

HAT Up=<key for Shkval slew UP>

HAT Left=<key for Shkval slew Left>

....

etc etc

Very handy to use HAT-switch for Shkval slew.

I understand that, but why can't I do this within BS, there is no box available to assign the slew to a POV, nothing available.

Thanks

The ministick controls the mouse by default if i remember correctly. So if can map the mouse to the schval, it should work.

However, i have the schval mapped to the hat on the throttle. (works for me)

I give up, I will use the SST software, these issues I read regarding the mfd, I had a command repeating itself on the screen, what is best to turn it off so the x52 works with no conflicts?

Cheers

1. You can assign any controls from your Joystick and not using the SST, doing this; Small tip for x52pro users

I do this myself for DCS. You can assign buttons from the pow - as long as you find the right place in the Options->Controls (Real/Game).

2. Other variants I've used is that I've enabled 4/8 way swithcing in the SST, and set the combinations there. Then you dont assign anything using DCS - except your Axis for Real+Game.

For #2 you may want to do this; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=813064&postcount=3

And then assign the Axis for rudder/collective/joy x and y.
