Cowboy10uk Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Hi Guys, I've been flying Blackshark from the beginning, (one of the many to jump thorugh the russian purchase hoops) . However Due to a comp issue, I have been grounded for 6 months. Just reinstalled and updated to latest patch. However this has now caused me a few issues in Multiplayer. I have BS set up in SP for full simulation, my x52 setup nicely and my Track IR is working great. I also have use settings for all missions ticked. However when I try a launch a MP server, which I used to do all the time with previous install with no problems. BS MP is always in Arcade mode, My x52 setup loses most of the key settings that I have changed and my Track IR dosnt work, It seems I have mouse look stuck on instead. It also seems to be running at a lower res, I have it setup for 1920 x 1080 Though that may just be my eyes :) Now Im sure it must be something Im missing, as I cant find anyone else having these issues, Not too sure what would cause it, BS is set up as admin, Track IR is updated and BS is shown in it, and I would have though MP should use the same saved settings as SP. Like ive said, SP works great as ever with no problems, But I cant for the life of me get MP to run in Sim mode or get it to use my key binds and track IR settings from SP. Any Ideas Guys. Checked my VirtualStore, There is nothing relacting to BS in there. I have bs install to a seperate drive than normal though, You think that may be the issue. The location is E:/Flightsims/Blackshark. If I deinstalled and reinstalled to default, would that help. Cowboy10uk Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 OK, quick update, Ive deinstalled, and reinstalled into default directory, attempted to run MP, found I still had issue with Track IR not working, Turned off UAC, Track IR now playing. Problem 1 solved. MP was running in Sim mode. Problem 2 solved. Now everything worked before with 1.0, so Before I run out the bunting, Im downloading a fresh copy of 1.0.1c, and keeping everything crossed that it stays the same when patched. Thanks Tez, That jolt was just what I needed to make me look at another direction.
