DCS is an amazing piece of work. I love it.

I also love many other online flight sims and can't help but wonder why this product has no ability to track and embed your mission efforts a' la' FBDj stats from IL2

Example:

If you click on the above link, you will see that the export allows some pretty neat squadron tracking and pilot data for community sites. I doubt I am alone in wishing that such a capability could be offered in concert with a BS dedicated server.

So I plead:

I can has this kind of cheezburger?

Most of that data is already exported and present. It just needs software and implementation via a website to use it. I for one would support a unified statistics page shared between all servers. To me it doesn't matter if everyone scores points the same way, or if we just share the data and parse it how each squad wants.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

agreed. So I wonder then, if this is a development which must be created as a "mod" and integrated by a thrid party into individual sites or if ED has plans to create an online source similar to the following:

Rise of Flight: http://riseofflight.com/en/Community/Leaderboard

^^ Its OK... not a lot of depth there though - especially for the individual profile history/ stats

WWIIOL: http://training.wwiionline.com/scripts/services/personas.jsp?mid=457644

^^ Quite robust for the individual profile. Good sortie histories and utilization stats.

And already linked above... IL2: http://www.warbirdsofprey.org/modules.php?name=Stats_Page

^^ seems to have a combination of both.... BUT is only usable as a third party managed "tool".

the first two - rise of flight and wwiiol are both serviced by the parent game company - to be honest, this is what i would like to see... perhaps something simple that just exports our logbook or debrief stats to an online database? I am not a coder so I must offer the caveat that i really do not know what is "simple", nor do i pretend to... :)
