sweinhart3 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 In the players.lua file the missions in Georgian Oil War campaign are separated into 3 stages. Does anyone know what the different stages mean? The missions themselves seem to be identical reguardless of whether its stage 1, 2, or 3. Frederf Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 They are designed to be "early," "middle," and "late" in the campaign. You can play them all squished together in a unified campaign if you like.
sweinhart3 Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 just a little clarification. Im working on Georgion Oil War Chapter 1. Ive been struggling to pass I think its the 3rd or 4th mission, so at the end of the missions I end up bouncing back and forth between this mission and its previous mission. But logbook says that Im not only bouncing back and forth on missions but the stages as well. Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart
Frederf Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Oh, I thought you meant chapter 1, 2, 3. Stages are subdivisions of the chapters. Yes, you can bounce around inside a chapter... between missions or stages. It's normal in the original GOW campaign to play things over and over. You might be happier to get Wag's "fixed" campaign files that change some things like initial score=50 (instead of =0) and on non-time-critical missions you have a "cold start." I think you have less chance to repeat missions so much in this other version. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=42909
