Professor
Hi Guys, I am thinking of purchasing 2nd monitor which will have touchscreen capabilities for using it with TouchPal. Now I see that some of the big companies are trying to put out touchscreen monitors on the market and relatively cheap (http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/monitors/272602/exclusive-first-review-iiyama-t2250mts-windows-7-touchscreen and http://www.geek.com/articles/gadgets/acer-announced-new-23-inch-touchscreen-monitor-20091030/) Does have anyone have hands-on expirience with these new monitors? More importantly will they work in 2 monitor setup where 1 monitor is not a touchscreen (one guy is saying touchscreen will not function if you have two monitors in place see in dutch http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Monitoren_Touchscreen/Acer/T230HBMIDH/-1083092/?cmd=showRatings&page=1#tabberBox)? I talked to Iiyama tech. support in The Netherlands and they said it should work as long as you have 2 monitors and one of them is touchscreen. Two touchscreens together is not going to work according to them....

Two touchscreens together is not going to work according to them.... That depends on the touch screen drivers, so the answer may be different depending on the manufacturer. I have three touch screens hooked up on mine. The dell's I have run 3m controllers and screens. Their latest driver supports multi-screen configurations. I've even got it to run properly with two of the touch screens running as one display using a matrox dual head 2 go.
