zakobi Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I think i might have found the fail with my Saitek Cyborg Evo. I simply need to calibrate it... BUT! When i dont have driver for it, the rudder and throttle function disappear after few seconds, and with driver installed, i simply cannot find any place to recalibrate it  Any one knows where it's done?
zakobi Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 Doesn't you use X-52pro here? How do you calibrate it? If somone would tell, it could work for my joystick...
Prophet4no1 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Go to the Saitek site and get the drivers and any other software for it. It's free to download. www.saitek.com [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

GaryIKILLYOU Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) I have an X-52Pro but when I used a Saitek AV8R this is what works for me... Step 1. Un-plug the USB. Step 2. Shut down Lock On, or DCS, or whatever your using it for. Step 3. Find a different USB port than the one you where using, and plug it in there. Step 4. Load up the SST software, and select your profile. Step 5. Enjoy. And if that doesn't work, then I suggest doing all the same but before step 3 shut down your PC and wait a couple of minutes, then do step 3. (You would be surprised at the number of ailments a computer has that can be fixed by a simple shut down...) :) Edited February 10, 2010 by GaryIKILLYOU My Specs:Win 10 Pro 64bit/ i7 6770K 4.5Ghz/32GB DDR4/ GTX 1070 SC/Samsung SSD Warthog Stick/TWCS Throttle/TrackIR 5
Prophet4no1 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Is this for the cybog or the X52? You asked about both in seperat comments. I know the x52 self calibrates. Just move the axis around to all moveable limits if it's acting up. That's all I ever have to do. Not sure on the Cyborg though. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
GaryIKILLYOU Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) Sorry forgot to include that was for the AV8R, which is similar to the cyborg... whoops. rattler Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Hi; Everything you need should have come with the joystick. I have an x52 and all I ever have to do is use the sst program. I use the original drivers and sst program as the newer drivers give problems.
zakobi Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 I never got a driver with my cyborg evo, so had to get it from their site. seeing the saitek X-52 is self-calibrating makes me believe that i might be able to use same method to calibrate... Unless the cyborg of course also is it...
zakobi Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 (edited) ahh, found help here: http://www.saitek.com/uk/supp/evo_support.htm Had to make a much deeper search for it tho... Never mind, didn't help... Edited February 11, 2010 by zakobi
rattler Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 (edited) try to find the x52 driver. V 5.0.0.2000 dated 10/20/2004. Newer drivers for x52 and some others do not work very good. Hope this helps. I will see if I can find it and pass you the info.Cheers.:) P.S. Is your Cyborg Evo the wireless one? go to www.driverscollection.com click on saitek drivers and they are all there Hope this helps. Edited February 11, 2010 by rattler
