Another Auto-Hover Newbie Issue

Hello All,

 

I have been flying helicopters in FS at full realism for many years so I have some background in the process (even if the physics are lacking in FS) and I think my issue is my start procedure but maybe someone can help me.

 

When I load the training mission for Controlled Hover and I take control of the helicopter I can Auto-Hover all day long. What I notice is that when I come in and out of Auto-Hover all four FCS lamps are lit all the time.

 

When I start a mission and fire up the helicopter I can turn on all four FCS lamps but when I activate Auto-Hover all of the lamps except for Alt-Hold turn off immediately and then do not turn back on when I exit Auto-Hover.

 

What would cause this difference in FCS behavior? I am running 1.0.1.

Try to reduce your speed on 15kph,then hit auto hower button...

I figured it out... It helps to turn the AC generators on! I thought it had to be my start up procedure.

 

Now I can start learning the ABRIS and then move on to weapons systems.
