Activations

Can I find out how many activations I have before starting to install BS ?

 

Had problems over a year ago installing and lost some - now had hard disk failure and going from XP to WIN7. :music_whistling:

Have read this is regarded as a new install - and if I have used all my activations - how do you obtain a new one.

Do you have to purchase again? :(

In such a case I would E-mail the folks at ED ( support@digitalcombatsimulator.com ) and say you accidentally ran out of activations. It's an anti-piracy measure and in all cases of "limited installs" that I have ever heard of (including cases with DCS:BS) the company behind the protection has accommodated their paying customers with more activations.

 

They start you out with quite a few activations (3?) and even more deactivate/reactivate cycles (8?) so one slip up doesn't mean you have to bug tech support so much. No cause to worry.
