Kegel
Guess what. I just installed FC2 then UNINSTALLED LockON AND FC 1.12 and FC2 still works. You dont need either of the two programs to run FC2. Not sure if you could install FC2 clean but uninstalling the previous 2 programs has no effect on FC2.
EvilBivol-1
That's correct. The programs are separate and FC2 checks for LO or FC1 only during the installation process. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. Kegel
Thanks! Its been a while since I played LockON. Does FC2 have all the planes LockOn and FC1 had? I cant recall. When I uninstalled FC1, does the uninstall process remove the StarForce drivers as well?
EvilBivol-1
Yes, all of the FC1 planes are in FC2. Yes, the FC1 SF drivers are removed when uninstalling. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. kiss4luna
excuse me, but why not just make a fc2 pure installation? RTX 3070
GhostDog
excuse me, but why not just make a fc2 pure installation? Licensing. ED doesn't own the code for LOMAC. You have to buy LOMAC in order to play the upgrade.
