ScEBlack1 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Anyone know how to slow down or at least make it smooth, the radar elevation slew speed for the Eagle. The TD slew speed is fine, but, when I change radar elevation it is difficult to get a smooth change and it sort of jumps which is annoying, I am sure there is a way to slow the speed down or smooth it out, but, not sure were to look, thanks all. I use it on my X52 pov#3 and don't want to use keyboard.
ScEBlack1 Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Yes I could do that, but I would rather know if there is a way to simply set a speed so I don't need to change my profile.
Mugenjin Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Don't think so. "Keyboard rate slow/default/fast" ist for outside view.
DoctorK Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 The slew speed is related to your frame rate. So, you can slow down it by limiting the max frame rate. Open \Config¥graphics.cfg and change MaxFPS from 0 to a certain value, say, 30.
ScEBlack1 Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 "So, you can slow down it by limiting the max frame rate" well I don't want to limit that so that settles the question I suppose, thanks all. I might just try the rotary then.
RvEYoda Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 You certain it is affected by framerate? If you use the radar cursor with buttons, is that also affected by framerate? S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
ScEBlack1 Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 To be affected by framerates sounds a bit odd to me, but, I confess I don't know enough about how the game dynamics actually work. I would think that the speed setting could be changed somewere since it uses a up/down motion?
