I was testing FM for Su-27 and F-15C, and I can say that sustained turn rate for both of them for known weights/altitude configurations are within 5% with real data. For my shame I wasn't insist on modifying perfomance with flaps - I just don't use them as in RL. and you can't setup your own UFO if server decides that. I think, i can confirm that...its pretty well done.....my sensitive feeling was irritated only due to lockons limiters...supported by the confusion about actual thrust values used along this thread .....that threw me off...like "something unnatural here feeling"...but we found out why. ED Team Yo-Yo Posted April 3, 2010 ED Team Posted April 3, 2010 I am not the right person to say anything helpful about the integrity checking but I can give some charts instead. :) To show the fidelity, I'd like to present some figures about planes fine tuning. Some notes: I must recall that excessive power is the time derivative (Vy or dHe/dt) of energy altitude or full energy divided to mg. LEVEL flight acceleration in g's N_y = Vy/TAS. So you can see how the differences in itegral acceleration curve (TAS vs time) depends on flight model Vy deviation from the real values. Please keep in mind that Vy curves for F-15 was obtained from its acceleration charts and can not be presumed very accurate. That's why the ultimate reference is acceleration chart. A.S Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 Roger, first i have to find out what files can be allowed to be changed (gfx etc etc) and what files cant be touched under any circumstances (FM, weapons, settings etc etc) then i have to upload a tcl-network.cfg on tcl page so everyone is using same gurantee check in competitions. But because we have a more realistic g model now, we don't have to worry about people holding 12g. But because we have a more realistic g model now, we don't have to worry about people holding 12g.I don't bother how FM will hold it up far away from the normal fly - it can be stall or enormous speed bleeed or deep over G - every factor will make it user to feel bad - at least if it possible we can make it optional within сfg files.
