ScEBlack1 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Can you explain a bit better to me the "expected target range" information a bit more than the manual. All it says really is "The elevation coverage of the radar scan is "calculated" from this parameter". I never really change the number from 10 so I am curious as to a better understanding of this. Thank you in advance.
FBW Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 this is my understanding You expect your enemy to show up at this certain range due to the strength of his jamming signals. So the Radar elevation is pre-setted to cover (say 3000ft at 30km).

ScEBlack1 Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Perfect thank you Crunch, I always had my radar "Expected Range" set at 10km and was wondering why certain things were happening.
