h00t74 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) While using the editor to create mission There becomes a point where suddenlyl my system Starts to run at 1 frame every 3 seconds. After 3-5 minutes I get an error message(Sometimes) from Nvidia ( I have to write down the exact message) and it closes out the program. It seems to be random and does not affect flight or anything else with the game. I am running Windows 7s 32 Bit 3GBsSystem Memory Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 GHZ Nvidia 8800 GTX using latest Drivers ( I upgraded them due to this issue and it still did not help) No Crash log is created with this. Anyone else seeing this?? DXDiag Here: http://www.virtual66th.com/downloads/DxDiag.txt Edited April 11, 2010 by h00t74 Added Dxdiag text
DetroitDieseL Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 First thing is I don't even think Win7 x86 supports 4 Gigs- only 3 afaik....Not saying thats your problem, but it could very well be. If you want peace, prepare for war.... America's Armor Dev Notes AARM on Facebook Help Fund AARM
h00t74 Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 That not the issue I only have 3 GB that was a mistype :( .
DetroitDieseL Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Rgr that. Try going to an older driver. Edit: I just looked at your dxdiag, and you do have 4Gigs in- take a stick out buddy. I also see your overclocking your cpu- are you sure you have sufficent cooling for that?? Edited April 11, 2010 by DetroitDieseL If you want peace, prepare for war.... Panzertard Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 DetroidDiesel - I agree. Btw, the ME is running in OpenGL mode. So downgrading the driver might help - but it can also be general system health that contributes to the problems. See if some of the post in the general trouble shooter can provide some more data or an indication what the problem is. The mind is like a parachute. h00t74 Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 I did the Driver clean and that seems to have done the trick so far. Tested for about an hour with no issues :) Thanks mate.
