flask Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Hi all server mission makers As Good as the missions are atm, Could I ask,....... whats the possibility to include static objects as part of the mission/s, I am thinking of Bridges, power stations, that sort of senario,FC2 scenery/ building/ infrastructure is brilliant and it seems a shame not to use it, There was a mission in BS, that envolved a power station bombing( although this was done by AI and Cruise Missiles) and Id love to do something like that, maybe even have 3 or more targets spread along (and back from the lenth of the) front line ( on both sides), that way the fighter area cap would be streched ( on both sides) and give the bombers a chance at some low level interdiction with some Iron, Just a thought.:smilewink:
Grimes Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Ive got something in the works as I love targeting static objects. I do wish there was a "render as static" option to make an area such as powerplants and bridges appear at much greater ranges but also when you destroy a static object it displays more info than just "building" The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. flask Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 Thanks for the reply:) I will certainly fly that one. I remember falcon 4 was good for tasking bridge blowing and such as well, Hopefully when Bs A10 comes you might get your wish.
Case Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Expect to see a bit of that in our missions on the 51st servers. There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Vekkinho Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Main trouble in creating such missions is scenery setting. If you choose a target like some building in the city some of the players might not see it if thier scenery is set to low or medium. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
