ripper998 Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 For some reason when I am in the F-15 campaign in FC2 I cant get all labels to come up. It works in the A-10 campaign, and I have the key mapped to the same button for both profiles.
EvilBivol-1 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Have you ckecked the "Use these options for all missions" box in your Game Options? - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
jspec3 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Hi - Just wanted to mention I've had some similar situations, and I'm not entirely sure the "Use these options for all missions" box works exactly the way it's intended to. I have labels ticked in the Game Options screen and "Use these options for all missions" ticked as well - on the majority of the missions it works fine, but occasionally I'll play a mission and will not have any labels (one of the a-10 single missions comes to mind, I can't remember the name right now). I opened the mission in the editor, played around looking for options, ticked off labels from within the editor and when I flew the mission from there I had labels.

Be sure you have the "Use these options for all missions", open that mission in the editor and just re-save it, this way a switch will change and it will use global game options (missions have an internal switch setglobal=true/false and it's messy, true means it takes global game options false means its options were "locked" when created because it wasn't using global options): http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=52005 ED releases all it's missions with setglobal=true, but in FC2 some have slipped and are setglobal=false AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
jspec3 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Interesting, thanks for the information - I was wondering why the "use these options for all missions" wasn't working for me sometimes. I'm guessing the same procedure would be required with campaign (as opposed to single) missions?

I'm guessing the same procedure would be required with campaign (as opposed to single) missions? nah, it's just some mission here and there, but generally all mission use setglobal=true so they will take your game global settings. At first look, all F-15 campaign missions seem to be ok (setglobal=true) but some F-15 single missions are not (setglobal=false). Easy way to see it, open .miz file with winzip, view "options" file and check setglobal=true/false line.
