Loz Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I've finally got my eyefinity setup 6024 x 1200 working in FC2 but a minor thing, I can't see the radio command dialogue box. Well not quite correct, I see the opaque box that the text usually lies in but no text. Is there any file that I can change to be able to see the text in the radio command box?? i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. ICDO Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 I have the exact same problem. I have a eyefinity setup and the radio command dialog box comes up but there is no text. Also the main menue is stretched over two screens and the mouse cursor is not alligned correctly.
Loz Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 Yes indeed ICDO, I should have included that too. The mouse needs to be pointed and clicked just below where you want it to take effect. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. ICDO Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 I have attached a couple of images of the problems for eyefinity users in FC2. The menu default location is split accross two screens and has to be dragged to a better locations after each mission. Not a big problem but it would be an easy fix for ED to make it default to the centre main screen only. The far more major issue is in relation to the radio comms menu. As you can see from the image attahced the comms dialog box shows up as an empty grey box. This of course renders the comms useless in eyefinity mode. Can we please have a response from a developer show I know not to constantly keep bumping this thread. Thanks :)
Loz Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Yes that's exactly how mine apprears too. And I'd like an answer too, so more than happy to bump this thread. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. ICDO Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 I have found out that the missing radio comms menu is due to using bezel compensation resolutions. If you use non bezel (standard) resolutions then the list of commands show up. Unfortunately this is not a great work around as we now have to put up with misalligned screens. The main menu problem is becoming very annoying, every time you go into a menu and back out it moves to the wrong position and makes clicking on the menus items pure guesswork. It means you have to constantly keep dragginf your menu window to its proper location. Please ED, fix these problems for eyefinity users.
Loz Posted May 8, 2010 Author Posted May 8, 2010 Yep ICDO, I've just disabled Bezel Management to confirm that it is the cause of the Radio comms menus not showing up. It's almost as if the positioning of the menu is done from the right of full screen rather than the left?? I agree, come on ED, fix this for us eyefinity users, please. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. DayGlow Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I'll add to this. DCS:BS works fine, menus and everything with eyefinity, but FC2 is off-set and messed up. igeighty Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 (edited) Hello, I am using flaming cliffs 2.0 with patch 1.2.1 I also am an eyefinity user, and confirm that the comms menu is rendered unusable, as it is pushed off to the left of screen. when using bezel compensation resolutions. Is there any way to edit the position of the comms window in the config files ? can also confirm that the mouse cursor is misaligned, and must be about 10mm below the swiitch to be clicked. just as a FYI this also happen in bohemia interactive's games, arma1 arma2 and VBS2.
