Meinit.xml in FC2 question

I am trying to change payload configs in FC2. Apparently, Meinit.xml does not exist any longer. Did a search and found some discussions in the Russian section but nothing in the English section.

 

Specifically, I want to add the R77 to the SU27...Was able to using LOPE in FC1.12.

 

But things have changed. Anybody know what my current options might be ?

Find the aircraft in

C:\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Scripts\Database\planes\su27

then find the appropriate CLSID for the weapon in

C:\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Scripts\Database\db_weapons.lau by searching for R77

Then add this to a pylon in the su27 aircraft script mentioned first. After that you can add it easily in the mission editor, payload section

You can change payloads in scripts\aircraft\_common\rearm.lua.

 

If you want to adapt the reload menus you will have to change other files. I recall one is called wingmencommand.lua (not sure where it is located) and *.res files in FIU/resources.
