Boberro Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Hey, I need to create graph log of my FPS. I have seen on forum various screen similar to this one: In what application you are able to create FPS graph logs similar to picture? Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Kuky Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Use FRAPS to benchmark... output FPS per second... then graph in Excell 1 PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
Boberro Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010  So simple solution :P 1 Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
RvEYoda Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 If you find some program capable, a somtimes more informative measure instead of FPS is MTBF, no not mean time between failures, but: Mean-Time-Between-Frames or Maximum-Time-Between-Frames. This is a pure fps loss/stutter test, I used this in lrm development. S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
EtherealN Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Isn't FRAPS capable of recording frametimes as well, rather than FPS? Then you'd just send that through a statistical check in excel and get MTBF? Boberro Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 I'll do today FPS tests and make graphs based on Excel :) It'd be better Yoda than I gave you yesterday.
