jpm1 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 is it possible to assign a building destruction as a mission goal and is it possible to edit the coalitions entries after having begun the editing i take the opportunity to say that the possibility to include sounds as trigger events give to the game an incredible depth SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EvilBivol-1 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 To attack a particular structure, just set the targeting point over it and check "point" in the target list. The AI will then fire on this point. The coalitions menu is only accessable after pressing the "New Mission" function and not after. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Snacko Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 And if you just open up the Mission Editor and just start building a mission (even though it looks like you should just start building) you will never even see the coalitions screen at all. You must always click the New Mission button. I learned that the hard way. Arggg.. Panzertard Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 jpm, 1. add a unit nearby the building - AK rifleman or something - then you can look for his destruction and use it as a goal. You can also state this in the breif as "destroy the building and the guards". But you cannot check for a building unless you place it as a static object. 2. No you cannot edit coalitions in the ME, but there are people who do this by manually hacking the mission file after it's creation. See this thread: How do I assign Coalitions??? I moved your posts over to that subforum bud, you'll get more attention there. :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
