EDIT: after about the 3rd reboot it started working, I'm begging to see to many inconsistencies with Win7x64.

S!

I find also that my TrackIr stops working couple of times ! I usually unplug it from USB, wait about 20 secends, and plug it again and it work's OK again . . .

Very strange, but also after installing Win 7 64 bit this issue with TrackIr start . . .

I also started having this issue right after I updated my software to TIR5/Win7.

I swapped the plug it was using - plus I noticed that if I added more units to the USB it got tend to get more unstable.

I assumed I had a combination of USB port overload - and USB power consumption.

I'm still hearing about people who experience the same - so my advice is to keep testing new ports - and remove USB equipment you dont need at the moment.

And a big NOTE IN BOLD to people who read this later: FC2 102 /DCS 102 require you to download and update TIR5-gamelist. Otherwise your TIR will fail to work with the patch.

You could try:

1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System->Device Manager

2. At the bottom of the list is item 'Universal Serial Bus controllers', open it

3. There would be few 'USB Root Hub' entries

(If you open any of them, you are going to find tabs 'Power' and 'Power management'. On 'Power' tab you could find if your USB port is overloaded and what devices are attached to it. On 'Power management' you could disable option for computer turning off that USB port).

4. Find proper 'USB Root Hub' entry for TrackIR and uncheck 'Allow computer to turn off...' at 'Power management' tab

5. Check 'Power' tab for overloading

This could work if Win7 was responsible for TrackIR loosing power from USB port.
