mutiple monitors and

in Multiplayer I can't seem to get the set-up to work.

 

SP works so I was wondering is there diffrent settings for Mulitplayer setup?

hi, OK, I guess this needs to be patched so those of us running the multi-monitors and shkval and Abris set up so it can be able to click on the GUI Multi-player buttons in the Menu to join a server and game can you guys please fix this? Help us Wags!? this is great running in multiple monitors but I can't click on the menu screen in multi player because the menu buttons are hidden or displaced across the screens.

"ED"? would it be possible to add short cut keys functions to the menu buttons also; so you don't have to rely on the hover over button click-able function?

ok i try to help you my mon setup is 1x 1680x1050 , 1x 7" 1024x768 screen

and one 800 x 600 denver tv screen. LOL i can look tv when fly blackshark i have remote where is change tv or shkval :)..

 

 

 

my screen is arrange windows like this

 

first 1680x1050 screen

 

then put 800x600 screen right side down and after that 1024x768 panel nvidia tool rotatet so i get 768x1024 res

 

ok thats setup work me BUT i lost join button in multiplayer so

 

so i arrange monitor like all monitor bottoms are same line

 

go dcs install folder

then ka-50 folder /

fui/resources and multiplayer

 

then find file mainscreen.res

 

find line:

\coord{429, 139, 479, 188} this line make me 1680x1050 seeing wrong place but i can push that so i see that without graphics but I CAN JOIN mp

this conf i cant read briefing but i allways can go one monitor and read them and then swithc back multimonitor not easy but ITS WORK :D

ok no problem with join graphics button the problem is when I get to the screen for briefing graphics button its not there and the fly graphics button is not there I can see

the join graphics button.. but those coordinates did bring that button up and center top for me to click on.

 

I have no idea what screen is which? I join ip I can just double click, and it take me to the spectator screen .and that's were the problem is. I can not access the briefing graphics button, and I'm betting that when I click on fly graphics button is not going to be there-either.

you need arrange ur monitors bottom and nice line then you can access mp ,

What abris and shkval\screen you use can you put more resolution hem?

 

I see you use gtx285 card how you can use that 3 acreen and how much fps you got with all 3 screen on? I try to help you and i m sure you canfly mp we need get your monitor correct spot so you can\access mp

 

when you look windows monitor place arrange ur monitor there like they are bottom lines are same place and up is like

all 3 screen then you need look windows what cord that give you for monitor and conf that corrects spot

when you put mouse pointer one of 3 monitor in windows that tell you something cordinations and then you look there example if shkval is 1920x880 so you put y cord in game that 880 so you got that correct place.

 

i see you conf file they are arrange line up cos you abris and shkval start at cord 0 and thats why you cant access mp

there usb plug in's.. so now what, the screen pages before game, should all be showing up on camera one thats my beef. See attachment.

you can arrange monitors

 

desktop right mouse click

properties

settings

there you see all you screen what is plugged ur computer there you arrange them like my pic

If you cant arrange usb monitors correct place then that multimonitor setup is hard to get work

Found it is in these 3 files or LUA's that need to be changes for this to work with the buttons adjusted to center.

 

It's a bit crude but works. Credit with help from fellow multiplayer monitor runners like NASTY. Thanks bro

 

Ka-50\FUI\Resources\Multiplayer\

 

main-screen.res; change the cords (graphics button ) join game to 429, 139, 479, 188

 

briefing.res; change the cords (graphics button ) fly mission 429, 139, 479, 188

 

select-as-window-multiplayer.res; change the cords (graphics button ) Briefing 429, 139, 279, 188

 

use your button coordinates; and away I went, in my first MP multi-monitor set up...

 

This allows you to play Miltiplay games in BS with this multi monitor set up.
